Ingredients
  

  • 1 teasp per person Persian tea
  • 1 cup per person Boiling water

Instructions
 

  • Pour the water into the pot  or kettle and bring it to the boil. While the water is boiling, wash the dried tea with cold Water for seconds, pour the washed dried leaves of Persian tea in the small pot and put it on the boiling pot.
  • When the water has come to the boil, let it rest for 15 minutes which helps the minerals deposits on the bottom surface, then pour 1 cup per person into the small pot. Then put the bigger pot back on the stove again and the smaller one fitted on it. The flame must be very low. Better to cover the holes and opened ways of the small pot with a napkin in order to prevent the steam from coming out.
  • After 15 minutes, remove the cover and by a spoon (preferably wooden) stir the tea and after 2 minutes rest, put the pot on the steam again for another 15 minutes without the napkin this time. Your delicious calming Persian tea is ready, have fun with it!

1. The water you use for brewing the tea

Better to use mineral water or just a tab water with reasonable quality.

2. The material of the pot used

Better to use a Chinese or porcelain kettle. These materials help better brewing process.

3. The amount of water and tea needed

Remember that you need to pour 1 cup of water for each person and usually 1 spoon of dried tea leaves per person.
